How to use vehicle recovery straps
To attach the vehicle recovery strap, first of all, locate where the tow hook on the vehicle is. Once you have found it, hook the recovery strap to it and thread the end of the recovery strap through the vehicle’s tow hook. Take hold of the other end of the strap and feed it through the loop that you have threaded through, pulling the end tight.
Remember! Never attach the recovery strap to something other than a tow hook. If you attach it to the bumper, axle or steering rods it could cause damage to the vehicle.
Once the vehicle recovery strap is attached to the vehicle, connect the other end of it to the vehicle pulling it out.
Using the D-ring, attach the semi-circle section around the tow hook of the recovery vehicle. Loop the other end of the recovery strap through the D-ring and secure with the pin.
Now the straps are attached, the recovery vehicle can start slowly pulling the stranded vehicle out to safety.
